The SIFU model proposed by the ReLER Lab at Zhejiang University addresses the shortcomings of traditional methods in the stages of mapping 2D features to 3D space and predicting textures, by introducing side-view conditional implicit functions and diffusion models. This model can reconstruct high-quality 3D human models from a single image and exhibits stronger robustness, making it suitable for various applications. The applications of the SIFU model are extensive, including 3D printing, scene construction, texture editing, and more, bringing new possibilities to related fields. The model has achieved state-of-the-art (SOTA) results in both geometric and texture reconstruction tests, and fills the gaps left by traditional methods.
