During his studies at the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, he developed a keen interest in music technology. He expressed his desire to combine his passion for music with technology, despite the limited opportunities in India.
Established in 2021, Beatoven.ai quickly caught the attention of investors, securing $1.3 million in a pre-Series A round, bringing the total funding to $2.42 million. Khan and his partner Siddharth Bhardwaj identified that independent game developers, agencies, and production companies had the greatest demand for track generation. Initially facing difficulties in data collection, Khan and his team successfully accumulated over 100,000 proprietary data samples by establishing partnerships with multiple artists.
