At the 2024 Baidu Health Industry Ecosystem Conference, Baidu Health introduced a series of large model application products aimed at using AI technology to address the "impossible triangle" problem in the healthcare industry, which includes "access to medical care," "affordability of medical care," and "quality of medical care."

The following are the five large model application products launched by Baidu Health:

  1. Health Intelligent Family: Designed for general users, it offers services such as AI-assisted doctor search, AI medical report interpretation, AI medication assistant, AI skin detection, and AI sleep assistant, meeting users' health needs in situations where hospital visits are not necessary, and supporting multi-modal interactions.

  2. Online Medical Copilot: Aimed at doctors and patients, it provides online medical services.

  3. AI Smart Clinic: Targeted at hospitals, it helps doctors determine the issuance of additional appointments through the "smart appointment" feature, enhancing the efficiency of medical services, and has been applied in top-tier hospitals such as Wuhan Union Medical College Hospital.

  4. CDSS (Clinical Decision Support System): Intended for primary care institutions, it improves diagnostic capabilities and reduces misdiagnosis and missed diagnoses, and has been implemented in over 4,000 primary care institutions.

  5. Lingyi Open Platform: Aimed at enterprises, it offers service APIs for triage, preliminary consultation, drug inquiry, symptom self-diagnosis, and auxiliary diagnosis, and provides free API access with a quota of 10 million tokens to help industry partners use healthcare vertical large models with low cost and low technical barriers.

Data shows that currently, the AI health inquiry service has over 2 million daily active users, the AI medication assistant has served more than 20 million people, and AI medical report support covers over 100 types of reports. Baidu Health uses these intelligent products to leverage AI technology to enhance the accessibility, affordability, and quality of medical services, helping doctors and patients to more efficiently access and utilize medical resources.
