The Shenzhen Intermediate People's Court recently introduced an innovative artificial intelligence-assisted trial system, which is the first large-scale model system in the country to achieve deep integration of "artificial intelligence + trial" in the judicial trial vertical field.
Developed by the Shenzhen Court itself, this system has been put into use in the courtroom. In the trial of a financial loan contract dispute, the presiding judge, Luqi Fu, received assistance from this AI "assistant." This electronic assistant can analyze the case, generate questions about the case, and effectively improve the efficiency of handling cases.

To develop this system, the Shenzhen Court established a research and development center for the application of artificial intelligence-assisted trials, with a task force composed of judges and technical staff. They sorted out the key nodes in the trial process and designed corresponding algorithms and auxiliary scenarios.
It is worth noting that the system clearly stipulates judicial responsibility and the final conclusion of the case is still made by the judge. The AI assistant mainly helps judges save time on case preparation work. The system also has the ability to learn on its own, has been connected in real time with the database of the Supreme People's Court, providing a large number of authoritative legal provisions for AI learning, which helps to supervise the judge's discretion and promote the unification of adjudication standards.
Although it is not easy to cultivate such an AI assistant, the relevant personnel of the Shenzhen Court are confident in its development prospects. They hope that this system can become a "Shenzhen sample" and in the future, expand its application to more fields, providing services for a wider range of judicial practices.
