Elon Musk announced on August 11th via the X platform that the beta version of Grok2, a new large language model developed by his artificial intelligence company xAI, is about to be released. Musk had previously predicted in March that Grok2 would surpass current AI models in various performance metrics.
In April of this year, xAI released version Grok1.5, which saw significant improvements in reasoning capabilities and handling long text inputs.
xAI's first product, Grok, was launched in November 2023. Since then, xAI has achieved remarkable success in fundraising, raising $6 billion with a company valuation of $240 billion (approximately 1.7219 trillion yuan).
