It is reported that this budget-friendly version of the Vision Pro could hit the market as early as next year. Previous reports indicated that Apple has been developing a low-cost headset internally known as Project Alaska since 2022, marked as N109. This device will retain the high-resolution display and design style of the Vision Pro, with the operation still relying on gesture and eye tracking, offering a user experience largely consistent with the existing Vision Pro.
However, compared to the Vision Pro, this device will be lighter in weight, and its price could be only half of the current Vision Pro. Due to the reduced price, this device is expected to attract more consumers, thereby becoming a significant opportunity to expand the Vision Pro ecosystem.
Additionally, Apple is also advancing the development of the second-generation Apple Vision Pro, with the new device expected to be officially launched in 2026.
