In South Korea, an AI application named "X Caliber" is assisting veterinarians in quickly and accurately diagnosing pet illnesses. This technology not only enhances the speed of diagnosis but also makes it easier for pet owners to understand the results.

When Mozzi, a five-year-old Golden Poodle, exhibited unusual walking posture, his owner immediately took him to a veterinary clinic in Korea. There, it was AI technology, not a human, that diagnosed Mozzi's issue.

X Caliber rapidly identifies abnormalities by analyzing X-rays, helping veterinarians pinpoint the problem in seconds. This application enables veterinarians to provide treatment recommendations more swiftly, while also increasing pet owners' trust in the diagnosis.

The software developer behind X Caliber, SK Telecom of South Korea, reports that the application boasts an 86% disease detection rate. This significantly enhances the diagnostic capabilities of veterinarians, making pet medical services more efficient.

SK Telecom views X Caliber as the "beginning of AI healthcare" and plans to expand into more fields. Currently, the service is available in the United States, Australia, and several Southeast Asian countries.

In Indonesia, X Caliber is helping to address the shortage of veterinary radiologists. This demonstrates the significant potential of AI technology in elevating the standard of medical services.
