Last week, former US President Donald Trump shared some AI-generated images of Taylor Swift's support on the social platform Truth Social, claiming to be delighted to receive her and her fans' support.

One of the images in his post depicted Taylor Swift as "Uncle Sam," with the caption "Taylor wants you to vote for Donald Trump." However, the situation did not unfold as smoothly as he had anticipated.

When asked about these images, Trump stated: "I know nothing about these images other than they were generated by others." He insisted that he did not participate in the creation of these images, although they still remain on Truth Social. In an interview with Fox Business, he said: "I didn't generate them."

This response seems somewhat absurd, especially considering that just hours before posting the Taylor Swift images, he shared an AI-generated image of Vice President Kamala Harris at a fake communist rally. Trump's actions inevitably remind people of his previous accusations against Harris, claiming that she used AI to forge an image of her in front of a large crowd.

During the interview, Trump reiterated that these images were "made by others," which seems to be an admission that he shared fake AI-generated images. He said: "AI is always very dangerous in this regard." Such remarks are indeed disappointing for a former president. Meanwhile, some believe that Trump might genuinely be unaware of these technologies, given that he reportedly doesn't use computers much and once had an assistant print news articles for him to read. Additionally, he often exhibits unclear logic when expressing his views.

In the interview, Trump continued to portray himself as a victim. He said: "We see this happening everywhere, including to me. They let me speak—I speak very well, absolutely perfectly, yet I am portrayed as endorsing other products. It's a bit dangerous out there."
