Recently, at a Walmart in Rockford, Illinois, a special "server" made an appearance – a humanoid AI robot named Adam.
This robot was installed by AlphaMax Management, a company based in Nevada, whose wholly-owned subsidiary, Richtech Robots, is responsible for its launch. Excitingly, the debut of the Adam robot marks the first beverage robot in Illinois going into service, as well as the official launch of AlphaMax Management.
Adam is an advanced beverage-making robot equipped with two robotic arms and capable of engaging in intelligent conversations with customers. Matt Casella, President of Richtech Robotics, stated: "We are constantly achieving new milestones. This time, we celebrate not only the first beverage robot in Illinois but also the official launch of AlphaMax Management. Our new subsidiary is expected to bring new revenue streams and achieve stable cash flow and profits. We look forward to its continuous growth."
At this location, Adam primarily serves a variety of coffee and bubble tea drinks, capable of providing up to 200 drinks per day for customers. Customers can order and pay through an integrated touchscreen, making the process very convenient. While One Kitchen is responsible for staff management, site logistics, and leasing, Richtech Robotics handles the programming, maintenance, and repair of the robots, creating a good cooperative model.
Additionally, Adam is not alone; it has previously served at Botbar coffee shop in New York and Cloutea bubble tea restaurant in Las Vegas, accumulating rich experience. This innovative service model may bring new vitality to the future beverage industry.
