On August 29th, Logitech hosted a new product launch event in Beijing titled "AI-Driven, Co-Shaping Sustainable Development," where they introduced their first AI-customized wireless mechanical keyboard designed for Chinese users—the Logitech Amber Series K98M. This keyboard integrates Baidu's Ernie AI platform, allowing users to access AI services with a single click via the Logi Options+ software, enjoying features such as copywriting, image generation, academic paper assistance, and data processing.
The launch of the Logitech Amber Series K98M keyboard marks a new milestone in Logitech's collaboration with Baidu. Baidu's Ernie is the first application on this keyboard's AI platform and is expected to go live on Logi Options+ on September 12th. This partnership signifies the deep integration of Baidu's technological prowess in artificial intelligence with Logitech's hardware products.
Wu Tian, Vice President of Baidu Group, stated that Baidu's large language model, Ernie, is embedded in the Logitech Logi Options+ application, accompanying the release of the new Amber Series keyboard. This is not only a significant upgrade in user experience but also a positive exploration of the deep integration of large models with hardware.
Over the past five years, Logitech has sold more than 24.91 million keyboard and mouse products compatible with the Logi Options+ software, all of which can use AI features through a free upgrade. In the future, Logitech and Baidu will continue to collaborate to explore more possibilities for the application of artificial intelligence technology, meeting the diverse needs of Chinese consumers and providing more personalized and intelligent products and services.
