At the 2024 Apple event, Apple Inc. announced that its watchOS will receive multiple AI upgrades. Although many updates were already unveiled at the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) in June, Apple revealed more details during this event.

Among these, the translation app will make its debut on watchOS 11, supporting voice recognition and multilingual translation, and can be used on Apple Watch Series 9, 10, and Apple Watch Ultra without needing a phone connection. Users can download up to 20 language models for offline translation.
Additionally, the Smart Stack feature has been enhanced with AI, automatically adding new widgets based on the user's time, location, and other contextual information. watchOS 11 also introduces a new "Photos" watch face, utilizing machine learning to recognize and manage photos in the user's library.
