The much-anticipated iOS18 finally made its debut at Apple's launch event, and this long-awaited update will officially go live on September 16th!

This update is a significant overhaul, not only personalizing your iPhone's home screen and lock screen but also introducing some exciting new features.

With iOS18, you can freely rearrange apps and widgets, and even change their appearance, making your phone screen more aligned with your personal style.

Additionally, Apple has launched a redesigned Control Center, making it more convenient to use. The update also includes a new password management app and support for satellite messaging, which is incredibly handy in certain situations!

Beyond these home screen improvements, iOS18 has added new text effects in Messages, revamped the Photos app, and introduced new methods for organizing the inbox in the Mail app, making your email management more efficient.

It's worth noting, however, that iOS18 does not include the upcoming Apple Intelligence features, which will be released on the iPhone15Pro and iPhone16 series.

Apple Intelligence will help users rewrite and summarize text, and generate images through an AI-driven image creation platform. Meanwhile, a more conversational Siri will debut in the iOS18.1 public beta in October.

In addition to iOS18, Apple has confirmed that macOS Sequoia, watchOS11, and visionOS2 will also go live on September 16th. macOS Sequoia will introduce an iPhone mirroring feature, watchOS11 will include new training functions, and visionOS2 will launch an ultra-wide virtual Mac display. As for tvOS18, there is currently no news.
