Canva will provide some advanced applications to Pro and above subscribers, creating new revenue opportunities for developers. The company has also established a $50 million developer innovation fund, rewarding developers participating in the profit-sharing plan based on application usage. Applications will be integrated into various platform features such as "Text," "Elements," and "Photo Editor," enhancing visibility and usability. Additionally, users can translate application content into their desired language, improving the international experience.
In terms of APIs, Canva has introduced new features including the Content Query API, Design Editing API (in beta), Authentication API, and Forms API. These APIs will enable developers to create more powerful and flexible applications.
Furthermore, Canva has launched the Connect API, allowing enterprises to invoke Canva functionalities within their own environments. The recently released Canva for Salesforce is a prime example, enabling sales teams to automatically generate presentations using customer data.
