According to the latest news, Tesla plans to hold an event at the Warner Bros. Movie Studio in Los Angeles on October 10th, where they will showcase the highly anticipated Robotaxi, an autonomous taxi. Elon Musk has indicated that this day is of significant importance to Tesla, even comparable to the launch of the Model 3.
Previously, a blogger on Twitter revealed that Norway is experimenting with adding diesel generators to electric buses to address heating issues during winter. This measure was prompted by incidents last winter where some electric buses ran out of power, leaving passengers trapped inside and causing chaos. The blogger emphasized that this situation was indeed real.
In response, Tesla CEO Elon Musk tweeted that the battery packs in electric buses are too small, whereas Tesla's electric vehicles perform well even in cold regions close to the Arctic Circle.
Musk also mentioned that with Tesla's upcoming fully autonomous, human-free vehicles, traditional buses might gradually become obsolete. He pointed out that Tesla's fully autonomous vehicles can transport passengers safely and efficiently from origin to destination at a cost comparable to traditional buses.
Additionally, a netizen recently spotted what appeared to be a Tesla Robotaxi disguised as a compact, two-door, two-seater vehicle with a unique design, covered in yellow tape, and fitted with fake body panels. Foreign media speculate that this vehicle might feature a long, strip-like rear light design similar to Tesla's Cybertruck.
