Google has recently introduced a series of exciting AI features in its search engine and Google Lens, allowing users to not only find information but also gain deeper insights into content when using these tools. Now, users can analyze video content, use voice input, and even obtain AI-generated search result summaries, which is a boon for tech enthusiasts.

Liz Reid, Vice President of Google Search, revealed that Google Lens processes nearly 20 billion visual queries each month. The new features allow users to obtain AI summaries of videos by pressing and holding the shutter button while asking questions through voice commands when shooting videos using Google apps. This way, users can capture exciting moments and simultaneously learn more background information.

Of course, Google isn't stopping there. Users can now ask questions about any photo through Lens, applicable globally on Android and iOS systems, although currently only supporting English queries. Meanwhile, Lens' shopping function has been enhanced, providing more detailed product information, including user reviews, price comparisons, and purchase options when photographing items. The newly introduced "circle search" feature allows you to identify songs playing in videos, movies, or websites without switching apps, making it incredibly convenient.

In general web searches, Google is rolling out a new AI-organized results page in the US, initially applied to recipe and food queries on mobile devices, making mouths water.

However, advertisements are also entering this AI-filled world. Google announced it will embed ads in AI summaries and Lens results, a feature already live in the US with plans to quickly expand to other countries. All ads will be marked as "sponsored content," allowing users to easily identify them while obtaining information. By the end of the year, shopping ads will appear at the top and sides of Lens visual search results, helping merchants connect with users ready to shop.

Google also revealed that the redesigned AI summary, after testing, is now being widely promoted, although specific data was not disclosed. Google stated that this new version can bring more traffic to information sources.

In summary, Google's new features not only enrich user experiences but also make searching and shopping smarter and more convenient. Who says technology can't add fun to life?
