Tesla showcased its latest humanoid robot, Optimus, at the Cybercab event. The robot is capable of performing daily tasks such as carrying packages and watering plants. Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla, stated that Optimus can "do anything," including walking the dog, taking care of children, and mowing the lawn.

Musk also mentioned that the cost of Optimus will range from $20,000 to $30,000 and referred to it as "the greatest product ever." He anticipates that Optimus will "revolutionize civilization" and bring about a "two-order-of-magnitude" increase in potential economic output.

During the demonstration, the Optimus robot interacted with people, handing out drinks and gift bags, and playing rock-paper-scissors with guests. Musk indicated that Optimus will begin performing "useful tasks" by the end of this year and may be available for sale by the end of next year.

When Tesla's humanoid robot project was first announced in 2021, it was not considered a serious product. However, in 2022, the company demonstrated a rough prototype that cautiously walked onto the stage. Now, Optimus has evolved into a more mature product, and Musk is confident about its future development.
