Apple is continuing to advance its mixed reality initiatives, despite the lackluster success of its previous Vision Pro headset. According to reports from Bloomberg, Apple plans to launch a new Vision headset next year, priced around $2,000. Compared to the Vision Pro, this new device will use cheaper materials and lower-performance processors, and it will not include the EyeSight feature.

Apple's mixed reality plans also include the release of a second-generation Vision Pro in 2026, followed by smart glasses and camera-equipped AirPods in 2027. These products will further drive Apple's development in the mixed reality field.

Additionally, Apple is planning to introduce an "affordable iPad-like screen" for home use, which can be used for watching TV, making FaceTime calls, and using apps. Subsequently, a desktop device with a mechanical arm, priced around $1,000, will be launched. This will be part of Apple's smart home strategy.

Although Apple's mixed reality plans have not yet achieved significant success, the company has not given up. Apple still believes that mixed reality will be the trend of the future and will continue to advance the development of its related products.
