According to Zhao Zhiguo, the Chief Engineer of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the scale of the core artificial intelligence industry is continuously expanding, with the number of related domestic enterprises now exceeding 4,500. Among these numerous enterprises, nearly 200 large-scale generative AI service models have completed filing and successfully gone online, providing services to the public.

Zhao Zhiguo also mentioned that in recent years, many outstanding enterprises in the field of artificial intelligence have continued to grow and strengthen, with their technological innovation capabilities also improving. Currently, China ranks among the top globally in terms of patent applications and authorizations related to artificial intelligence.

To further promote industry development, Zhao Zhiguo emphasized the need to enhance the public service capabilities of artificial intelligence infrastructure. He mentioned the need to build a low-threshold, easy-to-adapt, and highly available AI development platform to accelerate the training, tuning, and large-scale application of large models. At the same time, enhancing the supply capacity of computing power facilities and constructing a nationwide integrated computing power system will solidify and increase the proportion of intelligent computing power.
