Sundar Pichai, CEO of Google, announced that Nick Fox will succeed Prabhakar Raghavan as the new head of the K&I team. The K&I team is responsible for Google's search, advertising, geo, and commerce products. Concurrently, the structure of the Gemini team has also undergone changes. The team will be integrated with Google DeepMind, aiming to enhance collaboration between the application teams and the Gemini model teams. Furthermore, the assistant team focused on device and home experiences will be transferred to the Platforms & Devices division to better align with the products it serves.

Recently, Google DeepMind announced the development of a new AI model designed to predict key properties of potential drugs, accelerating pharmaceutical research. In the shopping platform realm, Google also stated it will roll out a new AI-driven experience, expected to be fully launched in the United States in the coming weeks.
