SK Telecom is making headlines again! They announced on Tuesday the launch of the PC version of their proprietary artificial intelligence (AI) service, A., allowing users to access various large language models (LLM) for free through the website adot.ai, including the latest GPT-4o.
This PC version not only allows users to use A. on their phones but also marks the first time they can access it on computers and tablets via various browsers.

In this new service, users can experience a total of eight large language models, including three versions of ChatGPT, three versions of Anthropic's Claude, Perplex, and SK Telecom's own model A.X. During the testing phase, users can also use models that originally required a paid subscription, such as GPT-4o and Claude Opus, for free.
When using A. (A-point), users receive 5000 credits daily, and each question will deduct a certain amount of credits based on the selected LLM. An SK Telecom official stated that they hope to collect user data during this testing phase, such as the number of questions asked. Unlike the mobile version, a major highlight of the PC version is the convenience of comparing different LLMs without copying and pasting, and seamlessly switching models to maintain the continuity of the conversation context.
SK Telecom also mentioned that they are considering adding more LLMs to the service, such as Google Gemini, GPT o1-previewGPTo1-mini. The specific duration of the testing service and details about the paid subscription plan have not yet been disclosed.
Zhang Chengyun, manager of SK Telecom's AI service department, said: "With the launch of the PC version, anyone can easily and conveniently access various LLMs. In the future, we will continue to provide cutting-edge global AI experiences through A. (A-point)."
