Apple CEO Tim Cook recently visited China, where he told Interface News that Apple Intelligence is actively working on entering the Chinese market. He stated, "We are making efforts to advance, and there is a very specific regulatory process behind this. We need to complete this process and hope to bring it to Chinese consumers as soon as possible."

It is reported that this is Cook's second visit to China in 2024. During the Q3 2024 fiscal quarter earnings call in August, when asked about the international launch of Apple Intelligence services, Cook only promised that Apple Intelligence would be available to all global Apple users, without providing further details.
