October 31 News: ByteDance has quietly launched an AI model sharing community platform named "Lumi." It is reported that the platform will offer features such as model upload and sharing, Workflow construction, and LoRA training. Currently, it is still in the internal testing phase and is only open to whitelisted users.
Journalists have discovered that when users scan the QR code to log in to the platform, they receive a message saying, "You have not yet been granted access. Welcome to join after the platform opens." Public information shows that the platform is operated by Beijing Zitiao Network Technology Co., Ltd., and the domain name artistrylab.net was approved on September 26, 2023.
It is noteworthy that the newly launched "Lumi" platform is quite similar in function and positioning to LiblibAI, which was established in March of this year. Both focus on the multi-modal generation field, aiming to provide creative workers with AI creation tools. This move indicates that ByteDance is accelerating its layout in the AI model community赛道.
ByteDance has not yet issued an official statement about this product to the public. Industry insiders believe that as AI model development becomes increasingly popular, model sharing community platforms may become a new battleground for major tech companies.
