Recently, KLING has launched a new "Custom Models" feature, a significant update that addresses the technical challenge of maintaining character consistency in AI video generation.
Based on feedback from early testers on the platform, this feature allows creators to upload between 10 to 30 different video clips for model training, with each clip requiring at least 10 seconds. Compared to traditional models that rely solely on image training, KLING innovatively uses video materials as the training foundation, and even supports training with AI videos generated by KLING itself, offering creators greater flexibility.
Once the training is complete, users only need to tag the trained character model and describe the desired scene in the prompt, and the system can generate video content with high character consistency. Whether it's a 360-degree rotation display, or complex scenes involving multiple timeframes with close-ups of faces and multi-angle shots, the appearance features of the characters remain stable. The case showcased by creator Halim Alrasihi on social media fully confirms this groundbreaking progress.
As a product under Kuaishou Technology, KLING launched its international version in July 2023. The current KLING 1.5 version supports 1080p high-definition video output and offers various format options, including landscape (16:9, 4:3), portrait (9:16, 3:4), and square (1:1), to meet the content needs of different platforms.
In addition to the newly introduced Custom Models feature, KLING's another highlight is the "Motion Brush" tool. This feature allows users to precisely control the movement trajectories of various elements in the frame, significantly enhancing the precision and flexibility of video creation. It's worth noting that users can receive 66 free creation credits daily just by registering with their email, providing creators with ample experimental space.
This major update not only marks a technological breakthrough for KLING in the field of AI video generation but also heralds the imminent arrival of a new era of refined AI video creation.
