In a unique cooking showdown, Neo Beta competed against Nick DiGiovanni, the youngest finalist of "MasterChef" and a renowned food influencer, in a challenge to prepare a medium-rare steak.
The intelligent robot demonstrated remarkable culinary talent, perfectly executing the steak preparation on its first attempt. Technically, Neo Beta employs the VR Teleoperation App system developed by 1X, utilizing Meta Quest for motion control. For safety reasons, 1X Corporation has adopted a cautious rollout strategy. Despite Neo Beta's impressive performance in cooking tests, considering the potential risks posed by high temperatures and sharp objects in kitchen environments, the company has decided not to offer cooking functions to its first batch of users. They plan to initially accumulate experience for Neo Beta in low-risk scenarios before gradually expanding to more challenging tasks.
