The official Huawei terminal Weibo recently released a preview video for the Mate70 series, in which Huawei Consumer Business CEO Yu Chengdong showcased the new feature of the series — AI Air Transfer.

This innovative skill is triggered by screen gestures, allowing users to transfer content in the air simply through gesture operations. In the video, Yu Chengdong successfully transferred content from the Mate70 phone to a tablet with a simple grab-and-release gesture, demonstrating the convenience of this feature.

The AI Air Transfer feature will be available on the Mate70 series, Mate X6, and Huawei MatePad Pro 13.2 2025 models.

In addition, the Mate70 series also offers magic gesture controls, enabling users to perform actions such as flipping pages through gestures when it's inconvenient to use their hands, enhancing usability flexibility.

In terms of industrial design, the Mate70 series continues to adopt a central-axis symmetrical design, with the camera module layout similar to that of the Mate50 series, featuring three cameras and one sensor arranged symmetrically, maintaining the consistent style of the Huawei Mate series.

More importantly, the Huawei Mate70 series will be the first to feature the native HarmonyOS, marking a significant advancement for China in the mobile operating system field.
