The core of IBM's generative AI strategy is to help clients fully leverage enterprise data, combining open-source technology with a connected ecosystem across multiple platforms. The collaboration with AWS enables IBM's technology to integrate more effectively with the AWS environment, including tools and applications like Amazon SageMaker and Amazon Bedrock.

This partnership also emphasizes the high-performance Granite model that clients need most, along with corresponding governance capabilities to ensure project credibility. IBM's business partners are assisting clients from pilot to production, providing differentiated value and selling IBM software through the AWS Marketplace.

During the conference, IBM and AWS will showcase how to drive enterprise-level AI development tailored to specific business needs. The IBM Granite model will be demonstrated through Amazon Bedrock and Amazon SageMaker JumpStart, with the latest Granite 3.0 model also being launched. These models support AWS Neuron to run deep learning tasks on AWS Inferentia and AWS Trainium base instances.

In the AI lifecycle, governance, security, and observability have become critical topics. IBM and AWS are collaborating to provide governance solutions that offer essential insights and explainability for AI projects, helping them progress smoothly on Amazon SageMaker and Amazon Bedrock. Additionally, the IBM Guardium AI security solution is now available on the AWS Marketplace, helping clients discover AI deployments, comply with regulations, and protect sensitive data.

IBM Instana's generative AI observability service will provide advanced monitoring capabilities for Amazon Bedrock and SageMaker to ensure the reliability of generative AI applications. At the same time, IBM Concert will leverage generative AI insights to improve application resilience and identify potential issues promptly. Finally, IBM's autonomous cloud security solution will be globally launched in December to help organizations automate cloud security management in the AWS environment.

IBM Consulting will showcase its deep expertise in AI technology, helping businesses deepen their use of generative AI on AWS. Clients can now purchase a variety of IBM software products and consulting services through the AWS Marketplace, selecting solutions from trusted IBM business partners.
