On November 29, the China Meteorological Administration (CMA) and Alipay officially launched the first national-level weather smart assistant—“China Weather Assistant.” This assistant utilizes authoritative meteorological data provided by the CMA, combined with Ant Group's large language model and Alipay's government AI solutions, to offer users a variety of thoughtful services including weather inquiries, clothing suggestions, and meteorological education. Users can experience it by pulling down on the Alipay homepage or downloading the Zhixiaobao app.

The “China Weather Assistant” connects data from over 2,400 weather stations nationwide and integrates multi-dimensional meteorological data such as radar cloud maps, tidal information, and tropical cyclone data. Users can interact with the assistant via text or voice to quickly obtain weather forecasts, typhoon paths, and other information. The assistant also provides personalized travel suggestions like “remember to adjust your clothing,” making weather inquiries more relatable.
