The new version deeply integrates the three core office functions of "reading, writing, and searching," aiming to provide a one-stop solution for users' work challenges.
In terms of "reading," the AI Document Assistant's deep reading capabilities have been significantly enhanced, supporting intelligent reading in specialized scenarios. Users can upload research reports, lengthy documents, and other files, and the AI assistant will quickly extract key information. The upgraded assistant supports the upload of up to 50 files at once, including plain text, local documents, Tencent Docs, and web links, effectively improving reading efficiency and comprehension. Additionally, the AI assistant can summon "domain experts" to interpret various documents such as papers, research reports, financial statements, and books, and can generate mind maps to help users quickly grasp the main points of the articles.
In terms of "writing," the AI's creative capabilities have been enhanced, providing a new AI PPT generation process that supports various methods for creating PPTs, including importing existing content, starting from scratch, choosing templates, and creating based on web links. The AI assistant has prepared hundreds of high-quality templates and thousands of PPT components, automatically combining them to meet the needs of different occasions and themes. At the same time, the AI assistant supports step-by-step creation of long articles, intelligently generating outlines and automatically filling in details. The newly added features for directly generating mind maps from images and PDFs, as well as the AI-generated flowchart functionality, further enhance users' creative and planning abilities.
In terms of "searching," the AI Document Assistant's online search function has been optimized, allowing users to browse and summarize information from the internet, and directly trace back to the original web pages for reference. Leveraging the Tencent ecosystem, AI search can retrieve content from WeChat official accounts and directly access Tencent Docs, quickly obtaining valuable document resources.
In addition to the comprehensive renewal of the AI Document Assistant, version 3.9.0 of Tencent Docs also introduces a brand new homepage visual design, supports the direct creation of local Office documents, and provides a more efficient, convenient, and native Office experience. The newly added global search function allows users to search for documents, templates, libraries, and tools simultaneously, simplifying the retrieval process. The sorting, filtering, and multi-selection capabilities in the document list have also been upgraded, making document management more user-friendly.
