StepStar has announced that the video generation model Step-Video is now in beta testing, and users can apply for beta testing qualifications on the Yuewen Video official website.
The Step-Video model currently supports generating videos from text (text-to-video), capable of producing high-definition videos with a resolution of up to 1080P and a maximum length of 10 seconds. It takes an average of 2.5 minutes to complete a video, but it has shown significant advantages in automatically optimizing prompts, aesthetic style representation, and motion control.
In terms of aesthetic style, Step-Video excels particularly in themes related to Chinese culture, being able to accurately understand and generate content that aligns with the essence of classical poetry. In motion control, Step-Video demonstrates excellent performance, generating videos that adhere to the laws of physical motion. This presents a challenge for the AI video generation field, as it requires the model to have a deep understanding of semantics and to handle complex details such as spatial perspective relationships and object interactions.
In the future, StepStar is expected to introduce more improvements and new features to further enhance the efficiency and quality of video generation.
