Shanghai Mita Network Technology Co., Ltd. recently announced that its AI Mita academic search function has been significantly enhanced, with the data volume increasing sevenfold.

This update upgrades the indexing from abstracts to full texts, covering tens of millions of Open Access papers, including approximately 40% of SCI papers as well as articles from top journals such as Nature and Science. This upgrade means that users can comprehensively search and access academic resources, improving the efficiency of research and learning.

The AI Mita academic search has also introduced an "explanation" feature designed to help users understand difficult sentences in the literature. Users simply need to click on the part they don't understand, and the system will provide an explanation, making the reading of academic texts easier.

Additionally, to address the reading barriers of papers in less common languages, AI Mita has specifically trained a translation model that supports 44 languages, further eliminating language barriers and making global academic achievements more open and accessible.
