With the rapid development of technology, the real estate industry is quickly embracing artificial intelligence. Zumper, as a rental portal platform, recently launched an AI assistant named Zoe, bringing a new intelligent service experience to the rental market.
This AI assistant can answer almost all questions from renters about properties and the surrounding environment around the clock, and can proactively assist in managing the rental process, including scheduling viewings and submitting rental intentions. Anthemos Georgiades, co-founder and CEO of Zumper, stated that Zoe will completely transform the rental industry by providing 24-hour support to renters, helping them narrow down their search and arrange viewing schedules.
In fact, this is not Zumper's first attempt at AI technology. As early as last year, the company launched a plugin that allows users to search for properties within ChatGPT; in 2021, they also developed the PowerLeads AI tool to help rental teams predict user behavior and improve lead quality.
The application of AI in the real estate sector is showing rapid growth. Similar to Zumper, well-known real estate platforms like Zillow have already introduced AI technology in various aspects, including property searches, virtual tours, and fair housing.
Founded in 2012 as a multifamily rental portal, Zumper has received multiple rounds of funding from renowned investment institutions such as Kleiner Perkins and Blackstone Group. The launch of this AI assistant marks an important step forward for the company in technological innovation.
