Twelve Labs has developed an innovative AI technology that can analyze and search video content. Users can search for specific content, such as "when did the person in the red shirt enter the restaurant," and it can also automatically summarize video clips. This technology has attracted the attention of major investors like Nvidia, Samsung, and Intel.
Compared to existing technologies like Google's Gemini, Twelve Labs' greatest advantage is its high level of customization, allowing clients to train models using their own data and optimize features for specific needs. Co-founder and CEO Jae Lee stated that video, as the fastest-growing and most data-intensive medium, cannot be adequately addressed by existing search methods.

Twelve Labs' technology can assist in ad insertion, content review, and can also automatically generate highlights. Currently, over 30,000 developers are using its platform, and the company has established strategic partnerships with firms like Databricks and Snowflake. Recently, Twelve Labs secured $30 million in funding, bringing its total financing to $107.1 million.
Additionally, Twelve Labs has appointed former SK Telecom CTO Yoon Kim as President and Chief Strategy Officer to drive the company's expansion into new areas such as automotive and security. The investment from In-Q-Tel indicates that Twelve Labs' technology has broad application prospects, especially in the national security sector.
