Chinese AI video generation startup AiShi Technology recently announced the completion of its Series A2 to A4 financing rounds, raising nearly 300 million RMB. Previously, the A2 round was invested by Ant Group, while the recent A3 and A4 rounds were jointly funded by the Beijing Artificial Intelligence Industry Investment Fund, Guoke Investment, and Guangyuan Capital. This round of financing will primarily be used to enhance technological research and development capabilities, expand computing resources, build a talent team, and accelerate product feature iteration and market coverage, thereby continuously promoting the widespread application of AI video generation technology.
AiShi Technology's core AI video generation product, PixVerse, has shown impressive performance, surpassing 12 million global users, with nearly 6 million monthly active users. Since the release of version V3 in October 2024, creative effects like "Venom Transformation" have garnered widespread attention on social media. Notably, PixVerse not only maintains a leading position in text-to-video and image-to-video generation but also introduced the Video to Video feature, which allows for innovative extensions based on live-action videos.
In terms of technical strength, AiShi Technology has demonstrated exceptional competitiveness in the video generation field. In March 2024, the company launched the world's first Character2Video model, ensuring a high degree of consistency between character images and backgrounds in videos through precise ID constraint technology. The company's founder, Wang Changhu, emphasized that video large models are not only about parameters and data but also about productization value.
In the comprehensive evaluation of Chinese large models by the professional assessment agency SuperCLUE, the PixVerse V3 model surpassed Sora, ranking first globally. Currently, the company's PixVerse V3.5 version has entered the internal testing phase, reducing generation time to under 30 seconds, with significantly improved prompt response and motion control capabilities.
It is noteworthy that AiShi Technology has begun to offer technical collaboration services to enterprise users, including text-to-video, image-to-video, and special effects generation features. The overseas launch of its mobile app also marks the company's active promotion of its global strategy.
