At the recent Volcano Engine Force Conference, ByteDance officially launched the Doubao Visual Understanding Model, announcing its price of 0.003 yuan per thousand tokens for input, which is 85% cheaper than the industry average, equivalent to processing 284 720P images for just one yuan.
At the conference, Tan Dai introduced that the Doubao Visual Understanding Model not only accurately identifies visual content but also possesses excellent understanding and reasoning capabilities, enabling it to perform complex logical calculations based on image information, completing various tasks such as analyzing charts, processing code, and answering subject-related questions.
