On the evening of December 19, Flash Technology launched the country's first mass-produced AI glasses — Flash AI "Snap Mirror," with a starting price of 999 yuan, officially kicking off the mass production of AI glasses. The product is expected to start shipping on January 15, 2025, and is currently available for pre-sale on major e-commerce platforms.

This pair of glasses features a classic black frame design, utilizing rear battery technology and innovative heat dissipation design, keeping the overall weight at 50g, with a practical wearing sensation of only about 30g. In terms of hardware configuration, it is equipped with a Sony 16-megapixel camera, a Knowles Hi-Fi speaker, and three built-in batteries with a total capacity of 1350mAh, along with a dedicated 6500mAh range extender ring that can charge a mobile phone in reverse.

On the software side, Flash A1 runs on the self-developed Loomo OS, which has integrated several large models including Cloud Sky Flying, iFlytek, and Tongyi Qianwen, supporting AI features such as voice recognition and real-time translation. Through the built-in AI application store (Agent Store), users can access more AI capabilities.

Flash's founder and CEO, Zhang Bo, stated that the core functionalities of the product are now nearly complete, and more features such as time travel and live streaming will be enabled through online upgrades in the future. He emphasized that AI glasses, as a medium for recording users' complete interaction data, are expected to help users build a personal digital avatar, enabling communication across time and space.

To attract early users, Flash has launched several promotional activities, including offering a one-year usage right for "AI Cloud Disk + AI Flash Notes" worth 299 yuan, as well as a 90-day unconditional return policy and full refund vouchers for check-in. The product has partnered with brands like LOHO and will be sold through mainstream platforms such as JD.com, Tmall, and Douyin.

The launch of this product marks the entry of AI glasses into the mass production stage, indicating that the wearable device market is about to face a new wave of competition. With more manufacturers entering the market, thousand-yuan AI glasses are expected to achieve widespread adoption by 2025.
