Zhiyuan Robotics, in collaboration with the Shanghai Artificial Intelligence Laboratory and other institutions, has officially launched the AgiBot World dataset, the world's first million-level robot dataset based on real-world scenarios. Compared to Google's Open X-Embodiment, the long-range data scale has increased tenfold, the scene coverage has expanded a hundredfold, and the data quality has reached industrial standards.

This open-source project, hailed as the "ImageNet moment" in the field of embodied intelligence, showcases astonishing robotic capabilities. From arranging flowers in the living room to cooking in the kitchen, from checking out at the supermarket to sorting in factories, AgiBot World covers five core scenarios: home, dining, industry, retail, and office, incorporating over eighty types of everyday life skills.

In terms of hardware configuration, the robot is equipped with a 360-degree surround camera, a six-degree-of-freedom dexterous hand, and high-precision tactile sensors, with a maximum of 32 degrees of freedom. These advanced hardware facilities enable the robot to perform a variety of tasks, from simple grasping and placing to complex dual-arm coordinated operations.

Regarding data quality control, AgiBot World has established a strict standard system:

Task design involves oversight by multiple experts.

The entire data collection process is monitored by a professional team.

Data review employs a dual screening process at both ends (edge and cloud).

All actions undergo frame-by-frame manual review.

Algorithm validation ensures data usability.

Zhiyuan has also revealed its planning blueprint for 2025, which includes open-sourcing the complete dataset, releasing simulation datasets, launching a large model for embodied foundations, providing a complete toolchain, and hosting a series of competitions. These initiatives are expected to accelerate the development of embodied intelligence and promote the widespread application of robotics technology in real life.

The release of this open-source project not only marks a significant breakthrough for China in the field of embodied intelligence but also provides valuable data resources for global robotics research, likely becoming an important milestone in advancing embodied intelligence.
