Today, Cainiao Group officially launched its new L4 level autonomous vehicle for public roads—the Cainiao Driverless Car GT Pro. This vehicle is the first upgrade and redesign following the launch of the Cainiao GT, an L4 level driverless car, in 2024, with a starting price of 149,800 RMB (including vehicle hardware and a 5-year technical service fee).

The Cainiao GT Pro has undergone significant optimizations and enhancements in several areas, including product appearance, range, algorithm optimization, functional interaction, and technological ambiance, further boosting the competitiveness of the driverless car. The vehicle features L4 level autonomous driving technology, enabling it to autonomously plan routes and avoid obstacles, ensuring safe operation in complex urban road environments and providing efficient delivery services to end points.

The dimensions of the Cainiao GT Pro are 369412992200mm, with a range of up to 180 km and a maximum load capacity of 750 kg, with a fast charging time of only 1.5 hours. Additionally, this driverless car is equipped with 5 m³ of cargo space, and its core components meet automotive-grade standards. It features one LiDAR and eleven cameras, has intelligent light language interaction capabilities, and includes a keypad with a password lock to enhance safety and convenience.

According to Cainiao, the GT Pro can meet users' needs for 24/7 availability unless faced with extreme weather conditions. Each vehicle is equipped with a comprehensive insurance and accident handling mechanism, and the core components come with a five-year warranty. All vehicles also benefit from lifetime free OTA upgrade services and incur no data charges.

The launch of the Cainiao Driverless Car GT Pro marks a further breakthrough for Cainiao Group in autonomous driving technology and unmanned delivery, showcasing its ambitions in the smart logistics industry.
