Bank of America analyst Vivek Arya noted in an investment report that Nvidia is expected to make its official debut in the upcoming "AI PC market." With strong performance in 2024, Nvidia's stock price continues to rise and is expected to maintain its momentum at the 2025 Consumer Electronics Show (CES).
Arya mentioned that despite the early exposure of Nvidia's key product launch information in the media, the CES event could still be a significant factor in driving Nvidia's stock price up. He anticipates that Nvidia will further solidify its leadership position in the rapidly growing market at the event, showcasing its latest robotics strategy and the Jetson Thor platform designed specifically for humanoid robots, which is closely related to "embodied AI."
Additionally, Arya predicts that Nvidia will unveil the RTX50xx series graphics cards at CES, based on the Blackwell architecture, featuring faster GDDR7 memory and supporting "neural rendering" technology. He also believes that Nvidia will update its data center and AI GPU product lines, including the current Blackwell series and the upcoming GB300 and B300 versions, which will utilize 12-layer HBM3E high-bandwidth memory with capacities of up to 288GB.
Notably, Arya stated that Nvidia might enter the "AI PC market" through partnerships, and there is even a small chance it could launch an independent PC CPU itself. This view aligns with predictions from Truist Securities analyst Will Stein, who believes Nvidia may introduce a client-facing CPU in 2025, creating approximately $35 billion in new market opportunities.
Looking ahead, Arya reaffirmed his "buy" rating on Nvidia stock based on the aforementioned expectations, setting a target price of $190, while its pre-market trading price is around $135, indicating a potential upside of 40%.
