Recently, Zhejiang Shenfu Artificial Intelligence Technology Co., Ltd. (referred to as "Shenfu Technology") announced the successful completion of a Pre-A round financing of several tens of millions of yuan, led by Shanghai Houyi Capital. The funds raised will mainly be used for further development of AI models, recruitment of technical talent, and market expansion. It is worth mentioning that Shenfu Technology received angel round financing of several tens of millions of yuan from Zhejiang Kunxin Investment in March 2024.
Founded in April 2023, Shenfu Technology focuses on providing AI solutions for the apparel industry, aiming to address challenges in clothing design and pattern making through large model technology, thereby lowering design thresholds and R&D costs. Founder Wu Sisi has nearly ten years of experience in the apparel design industry and possesses rich supply chain resources. Other founding members also come from well-known companies like Tencent and Google, accumulating extensive experience in apparel design and AI.
Clothing design and pattern making are typically two separate processes, with designers and pattern makers responsible for different tasks. Shenfu Technology leverages AI technology to break down the communication barriers between the two. The company has launched two AI large models focused on clothing design: "Craft Clothing Deep Learning" and "Jinxiu Qianshe". Among them, the Huayi AI pattern-making tool is set to officially launch in January 2025, aiming to assist clothing designers in autonomously generating CAD pattern drawings after completing their designs, significantly enhancing work efficiency.
Wu Sisi stated that the traditional pattern-making process requires repeated communication between designers and pattern makers, leading to inefficiencies. With the Huayi tool, designers can generate more patterns in a short time, increasing output from 2 to 3 patterns per day to 20 to 30 patterns per day, achieving a tenfold increase in efficiency. Shenfu Technology's goal is not only to optimize the design and pattern-making process but also to promote the overall digital transformation of the apparel industry.
In the future, Shenfu Technology plans to collaborate with leading domestic internet platforms and apparel brands to explore new application scenarios, aiming to provide core technological support for the next generation of consumption scenarios in the apparel industry.
