At the 2025 CES Consumer Electronics Show, Flash announced its new overseas sub-brand, Loomos, along with the launch of the latest Loomos AI glasses. The hardware configuration and features of these glasses are largely similar to the domestic version, Flash AI "Snap Mirror," supporting 4K photo and 1080P video capture, showcasing powerful imaging capabilities.
Unlike the domestic version, the Loomos AI glasses are equipped with a voice assistant powered by GPT-4o, providing users with instant assistance for practical functions such as text translation, object recognition, remembering parking locations, and information retrieval. Users can obtain the information or services they need through simple voice commands.
It is reported that the Loomos AI glasses will launch a crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter starting January 21. The company also revealed plans to establish subsidiaries in regions like North America and Europe to promote its global market expansion. In terms of product design, Flash collaborated with the well-known eyewear brand LOHO to create an ergonomic design tailored to Asian facial features. The glasses are lightweight, weighing approximately 50 grams, and incorporate user-friendly designs such as spring hinges and invisible air-cushion nose pads to ensure comfort during wear.
Regarding battery life, the Loomos AI glasses are equipped with three built-in batteries with a total capacity of 450mAh, using a Pogo-Pin magnetic interface that supports charging while wearing. This product features a Sony 16-megapixel camera, achieving the first-ever provision of 16-megapixel full-resolution photos and low-power video stabilization on AI glasses, with a field of view of up to 123°, simulating human vision.
In terms of audio, Flash collaborated with AAC Technologies to introduce Hi-Fi level speakers, supporting dual DSP independent amplifiers to provide high-fidelity stereo sound. Additionally, future updates will support Wi-Fi wireless music streaming, offering a richer audio experience.
On the software side, the Loomos AI glasses are equipped with a self-developed AI memory system — Loomo OS, capable of recording and storing users' audio, text, and image data in various modalities. The glasses will also feature an AI app store, allowing users to flexibly access various AI capabilities to meet diverse needs.
