Alibaba Cloud has officially launched its new Tongyi Lingma AI Programmer, marking the debut of the first AI programming product that supports both VS Code and JetBrains IDEs. This AI programmer tool possesses more powerful capabilities than traditional coding assistants, helping developers complete coding tasks more efficiently.
The Tongyi Lingma AI Programmer can easily handle complex coding tasks such as developing business requirements from scratch, bug fixes, and bulk unit test generation through a fully conversational collaboration approach. Developers can interact with the AI programmer to easily issue commands and modify code.
The underlying model has been upgraded to Qwen2.5-coder, with code generation accuracy and speed at a globally leading level. Tongyi Lingma can not only perform code retrieval for files, images, and entire projects but also freely combine contextual information to deeply understand the developer's task intentions.
It is worth mentioning that Tongyi Lingma is the first in the country to introduce the functionality for modifying multiple code files simultaneously. The AI programmer can make changes to several code files at once, allowing developers to clearly see the generation process of multiple files and choose to accept changes with one click or make partial modifications. Additionally, if the AI-generated content does not meet expectations, users can use the snapshot feature to roll back and reissue requests.
