According to reports from Intelligent Emergence, Tencent's AI assistant "Yuanbao" has undergone a significant organizational adjustment, with the product team moving entirely to Tencent Cloud and Smart Industry Group (CSIG). This change means that "Yuanbao" will now be overseen by Wu Zulong, the head of Tencent Meetings.

In his new role, Wu Zulong will focus on building the product capabilities of "Yuanbao" and optimizing user experience. Meanwhile, the research and development team for Tencent's Hunyuan large model will continue to focus on technical support, enhancing model capabilities and performance.

Tang Daosheng, a senior leader at Tencent Group, emphasized during an employee communication meeting that there will be increased investment in AI strategic directions such as large models, and that the company will continue to promote technological innovation and application exploration in the future.

"Yuanbao," as an AI assistant application based on Tencent's Hunyuan large model capabilities, officially launched in May 2024. It provides users with features such as AI search, AI reading, AI writing, and AI drawing, showcasing ChatGPT-like Q&A capabilities. Initially, "Yuanbao" and its technology R&D team were part of Tencent's Technology Engineering Group (TEG).
