The biggest highlight of this release is the support for "one-click deployment," allowing developers to complete the model integration in just three minutes, greatly simplifying the AI application development process.
The launch of Tencent Cloud HAI aims to provide developers with an efficient and convenient environment, eliminating the cumbersome steps traditionally required for model deployment. Developers typically need to perform multiple operations such as hardware configuration, driver installation, network connection, storage configuration, environment setup, framework installation, and model downloading. However, through the HAI platform, developers can easily call the DeepSeek-R1 model with just two steps.
The specific steps are as follows:
1. Create a DeepSeek-R1 application: Developers log in to Tencent Cloud HAI and click "Get Started" to create a new DeepSeek-R1 application. First-time users need to follow the instructions to complete the necessary authorization.
2. Start using DeepSeek-R1: After the application is created, developers can receive a password via internal messaging and choose either the visual interface (ChatbotUI) or command line (JupyterLab) for integration. For the visual interface, users can select "Compute Connection" in the HAI console to enter the ChatbotUI interface and follow the on-screen instructions. For the command line, users should select "Compute Connection" -> "JupyterLab" in the HAI console, create a new Terminal, and enter the command "ollama run deepseek-r1" to load the default 1.5B model.
Additionally, if users are not satisfied with the performance of the 1.5B model, they can easily switch to models of specifications such as 7B, 8B, or 14B through command line instructions to meet different application needs. This flexibility undoubtedly provides greater convenience for developers.
