The wireless charging provider Sharge has raised $1.53 million in just five days for its Loomos AI glasses launched on Kickstarter.
The Loomos AI glasses are equipped with a 450mAh battery, offering a standby time of up to 40 hours, leading the market. They also feature a Sony 16MP camera capable of taking 4K photos (4656x3496), immersive open-ear audio with dual DSP amplifiers, and 5.1 virtual surround sound for crystal-clear cinema-quality sound.
The device is expected to retail for $300, but early supporters on Kickstarter can enjoy a discount. The company stated that the device will provide instant voice activation through ChatGPT-4o, making it easy to stay connected.
Users just need to say "Hey, Loomos," and it will respond. Loomos is equipped with a multi-mode ChatGPT-4o and a Unisoc 4-core 2.0GHz AI processor, making it your personal AI memory center, creative partner, and life advisor. As long as you have Wi-Fi, it can operate independently. The company stated that yes, Loomos will serve as a fact-checker. Just ask, "Hey, Loomos, is the company 'Loomos' legitimate?" and let the AI confirm. The company assured that all your data will belong to you.
Each time recording starts, a light indicator will turn on to let others know you are recording. For areas without photos or extra peace of mind, users can simply attach the included magnetic top cover to obscure the camera.
Other standout features include:
- Video recording: 1080p @30fps, with a maximum continuous recording time of five minutes (while Meta's vertical clips last for 1 minute).
- Flagship DLS0920A speaker for full sound reproduction (100–10,000Hz).
- Equipped with the W517 chip for high-performance, low-power AI functionality.
- The industry's first smart glasses with SRRC certification.
- Optional 6500mAh neckband battery, surpassing Meta's 3034mAh.
It is reported that the minimum funding goal for Loomos AI glasses is $5,000. It has already raised $1.53 million with 32 days remaining.
Over the past five years, Sharge has continuously produced various EDC products, successfully launching 9 Kickstarter projects and 10 Indiegogo campaigns. However, the company noted that this project carries typical risks.
