An innovative video generation technology, FlashVideo, has recently announced its open-source release. This framework cleverly addresses the balance between speed and quality in AI video generation through a unique two-stage design.

FlashVideo employs a concept similar to LQIP (Low-Quality Image Placeholder) used in web front-end development, dividing the video generation process into two stages: preview and quality enhancement. In the preview stage, the system can quickly generate a draft video at a very low computational cost, providing users with instant feedback and significantly enhancing user experience and commercial viability.

During the quality enhancement stage, FlashVideo demonstrates its powerful ability to improve video quality, optimizing low-resolution 270P preview videos to high-definition 1080P quality, ensuring a better viewing experience for the final product. This progressive processing approach not only increases generation efficiency but also provides users with more flexible creative options.

With the open-sourcing of FlashVideo's code, this innovative framework is expected to promote the widespread application of AI video generation technology in the commercial sector, offering content creators and businesses more efficient video production solutions.
