Tencent AI Assistant "Tencent Yuanbao" recently released an important update, with its underlying models DeepSeek and Tencent Hongyuan now equipped with "deep thinking" capabilities. Users can experience this new feature for free through the Yuanbao App.
The core of this update is the introduction of deep thinking ability. Compared to traditional models, models that support deep thinking can analyze problems from multiple dimensions, demonstrating a cognitive process that is closer to human reasoning. This helps users better handle complex work and learning tasks. Notably, Tencent's self-developed Hongyuan T1 deep thinking model has started a small-scale gray testing within Yuanbao, creating a dual-drive system alongside the previously integrated DeepSeek-R1 full-version model.
In terms of search capabilities, Tencent Yuanbao has achieved full model networked search support, covering content from WeChat public accounts and other Tencent ecosystem sources, as well as authoritative information from the internet, enhancing the accuracy and reliability of responses.
Tencent stated that by simultaneously supporting both Hongyuan and DeepSeek models, Yuanbao offers users a more diverse range of options. In the future, Tencent will continue to optimize product features and model performance, aiming to create a more powerful AI assistant tool.
