With the continuous advancement of artificial intelligence technology, OpenAI has shown strong growth momentum in the market. OpenAI's Chief Operating Officer Brad Lightcap revealed in an interview that as of February this year, the weekly active user count of its popular product ChatGPT has reached 400 million, a 33% increase from 300 million users in December last year.

Lightcap stated that the rapid growth of ChatGPT is a natural process; as the product becomes more useful and users become more familiar with it, the increase in user numbers is to be expected.

In addition, OpenAI's enterprise business has also made significant progress, with the number of paid enterprise users doubling from the level in September last year to 2 million. Lightcap pointed out that many employees, after personally using ChatGPT, actively suggested that their companies adopt this tool, resulting in a positive word-of-mouth promotion effect. At the same time, more and more developers are integrating OpenAI's technology into their own applications, with developer traffic doubling in the past six months, especially with the usage of its "inference" model o3 increasing fivefold.

When discussing the company's future, OpenAI's Chief Financial Officer Sarah Friar stated that despite facing challenges, the company is expected to achieve $11 billion in revenue by 2025.

However, OpenAI still faces the challenge of losses. Reports from September last year indicated that the company is expected to face a $5 billion loss by 2024. Additionally, OpenAI is in talks with SoftBank for a $40 billion investment, which would bring its valuation close to $300 billion.
