According to a report by China Securities Journal, regarding rumors of the early release of the DeepSeek next-generation AI model R2, relevant personnel from QuantConnect responded that all information should be based on official announcements.
It is understood that QuantConnect established DeepSeek AI in July 2023, and successfully launched the DeepSeek-R1 model in January this year.
Recently, Reuters, citing three sources familiar with the matter, reported that DeepSeek is accelerating the release plan for the R2 model, with the original May release date now being pushed forward. According to these sources, the next-generation model, DeepSeek-R2, is expected to improve code generation capabilities and possess the ability to reason in languages other than English.
