Recently, Thin Red Line, Luo Yonghao's AR startup, announced its official launch of spring 2025 recruitment, attracting considerable attention. Currently, all open full-time positions are for Product Managers, including Senior Software Product Managers, AI Software Product Managers, IM Software Product Managers, BI Data Product Managers, and Commercialization Product Managers. The positions are located in Shanghai and Beijing, but the company hasn't disclosed specific salary ranges.
According to industry media outlet 36Kr, Luo Yonghao's latest entrepreneurial vision centers around an AI operating system (AIOS). To this end, he has recruited a former top 50 employee from Xiaomi and Wang Wenjun, who has extensive experience in the operating system field. Notably, Luo Yonghao hasn't founded a new company; instead, he's expanding into new businesses using his existing AR product company, Thin Red Line.
As early as January 17th of this year, Luo Yonghao expressed his views on AI operating systems on social media, quoting computer pioneer Alan Kay: "People who really care about software should make their own hardware."
