The Chengdu Municipal Bureau of Economy and Information Technology recently held a media briefing to release the 2025 Chengdu Artificial Intelligence Industry Chain Development Key Points. The plan outlines Chengdu's commitment to boosting its AI and robotics industries, aiming for a core industry scale of 1300 billion yuan by 2025, with an annual growth rate exceeding 30%. This initiative aims to accelerate Chengdu's rise as a national leader in AI and robotics.

To achieve this goal, Chengdu will focus on the "three elements of AI": computing power, algorithms, and data. For computing power, Chengdu will accelerate the construction of key data centers, aiming to expand the city's computing power to 20,000P. Furthermore, Chengdu will issue "computing power vouchers" and optimize its supply mechanism to support businesses and projects.

In the realm of algorithms, Chengdu aims to cultivate 10 large models for national registration and at least 80 industry-specific large models. Simultaneously, Chengdu will focus on tackling 30 core technologies to enhance algorithm competitiveness and application effectiveness.

Regarding data, Chengdu will promote the construction of a national data annotation base, encourage the introduction and cultivation of 20 data annotation companies, and build at least 8 high-quality datasets and 5 data element service stations. These measures will lay a solid data foundation for AI applications.
